About the Event

Come together for a magical weekend of kirtan, mantra and yoga with an experienced music teacher, as well as yogi and kirtan lover, Sangita. Be immersed in the art of kirtan and group music making as well as developing individual skills on harmonium, guitar, ukulele, voice or percussion instruments. Bring your own instrument, or share ours.

User-friendly handouts of all the music will be provided. You will also be introduced to the belleplates, a 3-octave set of hand held instruments, which provide a beautiful accompaniment for mantra chanting and kirtan. They are easy to play, and enchanting to listen to.

The weekend will culminate in a final session of sharing all that has been learnt. (ie. A concert!)

Over the weekend:
