Our programs in Mindfulness Meditation, Yoga and Music are easily accessible for people from all walks of life and levels of experience.
Melissa (Sangita) is an experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher with a particular interest in the use of meditation as a cornerstone for healing.
After a serious illness in 2013 she found herself living in a yoga ashram in NSW and completed a two-year Diploma in Yogic Studies.
Alongside this qualification and interest, she practiced and studied Mindfulness Teacher training at the Gawler Cancer Foundation in Victoria.
Melissa founded Mountain Mindfulness in 2020 and currently teaches in the Hobart area.
She is available for speaking engagements, yoga and/or mindfulness sessions in the workplace and one-on-one consultations in person & via zoom.
Mindfulness & Yoga classes run in 10 week terms so you can experience the benefits that come with regular practice. However, we also offer 5-class passes to be used within the term because we know life isn't always so predictable.
The sessions are 60 - 90 minutes long and offered at different times of the day, guaranteed to leave you feeling relaxed and energized for the rest of your week.
Regular day retreats are held at Murdunna, one hour from Hobart, and allow for a deeper experience and understanding of a variety of related topics.
