About the Event
Come and spend an afternoon with me as we play music together, learn new kirtans, practice old ones, lead a kirtan, or challenge yourself to learn a new instrument. These workshops are truly suitable for all levels of experience.
- Be immersed in the art of kirtan and playing music together
- Develop skills on harmonium, guitar, ukulele, voice and percussion
- Bring your own instrument, or share ours
- All instruments welcome
- Suitable for both beginners and experienced musicians alike
What to bring:
Wear comfortable clothes, and bring your instrument/s, or just yourself.
Parking:
In the RSL carpark next door.
About Sangita (Melissa Howden)
Sangita is a yoga teacher with a long career of music education behind her. She has a natural way of engaging participants in the musical process and the learning becomes effortless. She enjoys working with every kind of instrument and facilitates a systematic and fun filled process to enable participants to confidently join in with the music making, learn new instrumental and ensemble skills, while drawing out the innate musicality of each one.
