Dances of Universal Peace - Winter Solstice celebration

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple circle dances that are woven together with our voices and live acoustic music. Participants sing and dance sacred phrases from the spiritual traditions of the world. All the dances are taught, so no prior experience needed.

Dance meetings usually happen once a month on a Saturday afternoon in Lenah Valley at the Pat Murnane Memorial Hall. However, for our June meeting we travel to Murdunna to the Place of Many Stars to become part of the Winter Solstice celebrations. At this very darkest time of the year, our theme will be light, fire & spirit!

Join us for a cuppa afterwards, and stay on for the lantern parade.
