Service Description

Support your health and wellbeing with Mindfulness Meditation. The World Health Organisation defines health as being wellbeing at the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social levels. It's a great definition because it acknowledges that our health is much more than just being physically well. Mindfulness Meditation supports our health on all these levels through the activation of the relaxation response. PHYSICALLY we experience improved digestion, immunity and sleep. MENTALLY we let go of anxiety and fear. EMOTIONALLY we develop acceptance and find ways to appropriately express ourselves. SPIRITUALLY we connect with our deeper purpose and meaning. SOCIALLY we engage more fully in our relationships and community. These 6 week terms support your home practice and keep you on track with bringing more mindfulness (and a little stretching) into your daily life. This term we will incorporate some simple movements to help access the relaxation response. No special equipment or clothing necessary. Sessions are a mixture of meditation practice, discussion & sharing. They are suitable for all levels of experience. We sit on chairs.

Cancellation Policy

- If you have booked a yoga course but can’t attend, please contact us so that we can discuss your situation and reach a solution e.g. transfer enrolment to another course; postpone until next term; OR refund into your nominated bank account. - Once the course has begun, there is no refund. - If the course you’ve enrolled in doesn’t run, you will receive a full refund into your nominated bank account.
