This is a 75 minute gentle yoga class which will keep your body tuned up and humming along! Suitable for those recovering from injury or managing health conditions. Also suitable for beginners of every age and those who enjoy a gentle yoga practice. We'll particularly focus on: - joint and spinal health - gentle strengthening - balance - healing & relaxation - breathing techniques to calm and focus the mind Hatha Yoga from the Satyananda tradition is an authentic lineage that reaches back into the ancient heart of yoga, the intention of which was, and still is, to experience deep states of peace in body, mind & spirit. Postures keep the body toned, moving and flexible, while learning to breath properly is essential for optimum health, and helps to focus and calm the mind. Variations are given to allow you to participate in a way that keeps you safe and engaged.
