About the Event
Join Sangita as she weaves together three of her favourite things - yoga, chanting and a cuppa - in a beautiful seaside studio at Dodges Ferry. Please note this class now runs for two hours.
Each session includes:
- postures and breathing techniques to support, strengthen and open the voice
- chanting, kirtan and songs of peace
- the deep relaxation of yoga nidra
- a song sheet
Be guided to a state of medatitive awareness through the vibration of sound. Fall in love with your own voice.
The repertoire includes mantra, kirtan and songs of peace from the world's wisdom traditions.
Have fun and learn to sing together in unison, parts and rounds. Leave feeling uplifted, positive & relaxed.
Suitable for all levels of experience!

What to bring:
Yoga Mat, meditation cushion/stool, blanket/shawl
Keeping Covid Safe:
Numbers are limited to 7 people so it will be a small group and we'll be practicing social distancing. The studio is well ventillated (ie windows will be open), so please bring a warm shawl/blanket in case it gets cool. Masks will be worn as we enter the space, but once on your mat and settled, masks will be optional. The Government guidelines state that masks may be removed for singing rehearsals.
